Hay Festival 2022 - info, tickets, lineup - latest

AS MAY nears, it’s almost time for Hay Festival 2022 to open its metaphorical pages to festival-goers.

It will be the first in-person event since 2019, thanks to you know what, so there’s some understandable excitement around it.

Hay Festival 2022 public tickets are available Friday April 8th

This year’s (35th) iteration of the festival beloved by art, literature, thinker, Wales and Hay-on-Wye lovers will run from May 26th to June 5th .Things are shaking now though, so here’s the latest.

Hay Festival 2022 - Tickets

Tickets for Hay Festival 2022’s events are now on general sale (as of 12pm, Friday 8th April).

Meanwhile, details of the online festival, likely including ticket info, will be released on Monday, May 2nd.

If you’re not familiar with the ticketing at Hay Festival, you essentially buy tickets for each of the events included in the festival itself.

This means that you need to tally up who and what you really want to attend to get an idea of the cost. And with around 374 events, there’s lots to choose from!

If you want to attend a lot of things it’s…um, not cheap (especially if you’re buying food, drink and books on top), but Hay Festival really does have a global draw when it comes to the artists, authors, thinkers, and talks available.

Having been before ourselves it really is a fantastic experience if you can go.

Hay Festival 2022 - Programme

The in-person live event Hay Festival 2022 programme has now been announced.

You can browse the full programme, and pick from the (did we already say) 374 events available.

It’s a big old programme to consider, but that just means there’s more than likely something for everybody to enjoy.

Hay Festival 2022 - site update

And for now, finally, we’d like to take a moment to show our respect for those working hard to put the festival itself - in the real world and online - together.

So we echo Hay Festival’s own respect for folks like Hayden. Good job!
